FanalMag exists to give builders, makers, and decision-makers across Africa the clearest possible picture of AI, robotics, and the tools reshaping how work gets done. A simple principle guides everything we publish: be useful, be honest, and respect your time.
How We Pick What to Cover
Our editorial decisions are driven by relevance. We ask ourselves three questions before committing to any piece: Does this matter to someone building, buying, or regulating technology in Africa? Can we add something that isn’t already being said? And do we have the knowledge — or access to the knowledge — to get it right?
We cover what we believe in. If a topic doesn’t meet that bar, we skip it. No filler, no padding.
Reviews, Scores, and Rankings
Our AI tool reviews and robotics scores follow structured frameworks. Every score is assigned by our editorial team using documented criteria. At our Robotics Hub, we publish our full methodology — including pillar weights, evidence levels, and update cadence — so you can see exactly how we arrived at a number.
We do not accept payment in exchange for scores, rankings, or editorial placement. Period.
